Notes: Written from The Little Damn Table Challenge, not for it though. I’m only using the themes. Theme 99- Writer’ Choice. Written for Naru’s B-day! The last about 4 pages came from listening to Aerosmith ‘Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing’ like 20 times!

“How could he do this to me?” Naruto ran his hands across his face, “I guess forever isn’t as long as I thought it was.”

Prove him wrong, kit, Kyuubi spoke up.

“Uh huh, prove him wrong about what exactly?” Naruto cocked an eyebrow.

Show him that he could’ve stayed with you and still rebuild his clan, Kyuubi growled.

“And how do you want me to do that?” Naruto reached for the bottle of sake that had been on his desk and took a sip.

Have his kits.

Naruto spit the sake across the room, “Kyuubi, that’s not a good idea.”

You were thinking about it earlier. You can use that stupid jutsu you made up that turns you into a woman. Kyuubi stated, proudly.

“Kyuubi, I wasn’t thinking earlier. Do you know how long it takes for a human to have a child?” Naruto rested his head in his hands.

Hell if I know, Kyuubi grunted.

“9 months, Kyuubi, almost a year. By the time I had the kid, Sasuke would already be married.” Naruto sighed.

No, he is our mate! You will not let that other bitch steal him! Kyuubi raged.

“So you want me to get pregnant?” Naruto asked.

I think I’ve already said that, Kit, Kyuubi said.

“Kyuubi, you know it’s not natural for a male to be pregnant. Actually it’s not natural for a male to be able to bear children, men can’t carry a child.” Naruto explained.

With your jutsu and my help you can, Kyuubi grumbled.

“And how do you expect me to get Sasuke back into my bed at least once more?”

That’s your job not mine, Kyuubi laughed.

“You know what Kyuubi, I hate you,” Naruto growled.

That’s great! Now do your job.

“What if I don’t want to?”

Stop complaining! You know you want him! I know you want him! So just do it! Kyuubi snarled.

“Damn you!” Naruto slammed a fist into his desk, “Fine.”

Naruto approached the Uchiha complex at a relaxed pace, even if his thoughts were crawling with panic at the moment. When he did reach the door it took him a moment to actually knock.

A woman with long dark hair answered the door, Sasuke stood just behind her looking rather surprised.

“Naruto?” Sasuke frowned.

The woman glanced at Sasuke then at Naruto, “Oh,” She sneered, “You’re the Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto.”

Naruto blinked, “Yes.”

“So how do you know my Sasu-kun?” The woman turned and clung to one of Sasuke’s arms.

“We’re…really good friends. We were on a genin team together, team 7 part of the original rookie 9.” Naruto explained, “I help drag his ass back to Konoha.”

“Oh,” The woman smirked, completely clinging to Sasuke and trying to show off in front of Naruto, “There’s so much about you that I still don’t know Sasu-kun.” She purred.

“Could you…leave us?” Sasuke turned his head towards the woman but didn’t take his eyes off Naruto. “Naruto and I need to talk, I’ll see you tomorrow.”

The woman frowned but she turned and placed a messy kiss on Sasuke’s lips before flouncing out the door, waving goodbye.

As soon as the woman was out of sight Sasuke invited Naruto in.

“Well, she doesn’t like me.” Naruto stated.

“She’s just jealous.”

“Jealous?”

“Because she knows that I love you and not her.” Sasuke looked at the ground.

Naruto’s eyebrows knitted together in anger but he forced himself to calm down and silence settled between the two.

“So Naruto, what have you come to visit me for? For your goodbye I thought that you’d never want to see me again.”

Naruto looked at Sasuke for a moment and decided to skip the chit-chat and dive right in, “Sasuke could we…could we have one more night? Together I mean.”

Sasuke blinked at him.

“I’ll even be a woman this time,” He formed a couple quick hand seals and in a puff of smoke was a woman.

“Naruto…”

“Please, Sasuke,” Naruto begged, desperation apparent in his expression.

Sasuke immediately caved, “Okay but you don’t have to use your sexy-no-jutsu.”

“No,” Naruto shock his head, “I insist.”

Sasuke smiled, shaking his head as he leaned in and captured the blonde’s lips in a searing kiss.

Naruto couldn’t sleep; actually he didn’t want to sleep. He lay on his side staring at Sasuke’s face, listening to the sound of the Uchiha’s soft, steady breathing. He brushed his hand over his pale face and watched as Sasuke leaned his face into the caress and smiled, sighing.

“Hmm,” Naruto smiled, “I could stay in this moment forever. Just lost right here and now.”

Naruto sighed and pulled his hand away. He looked over the window and decided he should leave soon, before Sasuke woke up and before that bitch…Sasuke’s fiancé got home. “Kyuubi,” Naruto murmured, “Did it work?”

We’ll know soon enough, Kit, Kyuubi purred.

There was a sharp intake of breath from beside him, Naruto looked over at Sasuke as the other man stretched and returned the blonde’s gaze. “Did what work?”

Naruto blinked, “What?”

“You asked if it worked. What worked?” Sasuke asked.

“Nothing, Sasuke,” Naruto turned around.

“I won’t give up that easily. I’m curious now,” Sasuke smirked, “You know how stubborn I can be.”

“I can be just as stubborn, and we all know that curiosity killed the cat.” Naruto smirked as he sat up and reached for his clothes.

“You’re leaving?” Sasuke frowned.

“I figured I would leave long before your b…fiancé got back,” Naruto pulled his shirt over his head and stood. “But thank, for last night.” Before Sasuke could get anything else in Naruto had left the room.

Sasuke sighed rolled back over, going back to sleep.

Naruto leaned his back against the wall, panting. “How,” He wheezed slightly and cleared his throat, “How can a woman go through this? How could a woman want to go through this?”

At least you know it worked, Kyuubi responded.

“Shut up, fox, I knew it worked a few months ago!” Naruto bellowed.

Yet, you still haven’t told our mate! Kyuubi snarled.

“I can tell him whenever I want to,” Naruto yelled. “God, how can a woman want to have a baby or at least more than one? Good Lord, this is horrible!”

“Naruto, what the hell are you yelling about women having more than one baby and shit like that!” Sakura shoved the bathroom door open. When she looked at Naruto, in his miserable state she paused. “Why are you on the floor?”

“No reason, I was just admiring the linoleum,” Naruto brushed a hand over the tile. He smirked and shoved himself up off the floor and reached over to flush the toilet.

“What is wrong, Naruto?” Sakura reached to steady the Rokudaime as he swayed a bit.

“Wrong? Nothing, why would anything be wrong?” Naruto grinned.

“Naruto, I was called over because I was told you were sick, you being in the bathroom vomiting makes that statement true.” Sakura rolled her eyes.

“I’m not sick! I’m far from sick! In fact I feel fine now, goodbye!” Naruto shoved Sakura toward the door.

“Naruto, I’m not stupid.”

Naruto twitched, “I’m not fucking sick! Damn it!”

Sakura blinked, “Wow, mood swings much.”

“You have no damn idea,” Naruto murmured.

“What?”

“Nothing!” Naruto smiled.

“Oookk,” Sakura frowned, “So what was this that I heard about women and babies and it being horrible. Do you not like children?”

Naruto blinked and burst out laughing.

“What? What did I say?”

Hey, Kit, tell the pink thing and all of the village will know in under an hour, Kyuubi said.

Kyuubi! That’s not nice! Naruto avoided speaking out loud, “No, Sakura that’s not it!” He said, “If I did like children I wouldn’t be in this situation.”

“What situation?”

Naruto gasped, “No situation.”

Sakura glared at him.

“Seriouly! None,” Naruto lied.

“Uh huh,” Sakura sat down on the couch in the office. “So, it has something to do with Sasuke.” Sakura guessed.

Naruto cocked an eyebrow at her.

“And children,” Sakura tapped her chin and thought for about 10 minutes. After a while, her eyes began to slowly widen as she put 2 and 2 together, “How is that possible!”

“What?” Naruto stared at her.

“You can’t be it’s unnatural, it’s physically impossible,” Sakura pointed at him.

“Um, well if I am then apparently it’s possible.”

“You’re pregnant?” Sakura hollered, “With Sasuke’s child?”

“Shh!” Naruto clamped a hand over her mouth, “Not so loud!”

“So, I’m right!” Sakura smirked. “But how?”

“Sexy-no-jutsu and Kyuubi’s help, the rest is history.” Naruto murmured, “How’d you figure it out?”

“Well, I knew it had to do with Sasuke, because everything that makes you miserable has to do with Sasuke because he is an idiot. And it had to do with children, you said, ‘How can women have more than one child or want to? This is horrible.’ Then you were sick. Vomiting and mood swings kinda threw everything into place. So there was Sasuke, children and the symptoms.  I’m smarter than you think!”

“Oh well,” Naruto nodded, “By the way thank you.”

“For what?”

“Now all of KONOHA KNOWS!” Naruto growled, stomping over to his desk and slumping into his chair.

“So you haven’t told Sasuke yet?”

“Of course I haven’t told Sasuke yet!”

Suddenly there was a pounding on the door, Naruto growled, “WHAT?!”

Sasuke burst through the door, “You’re what now?”

Naruto blinked, “That was fast.”

“Yeah I agree,” Sakura nodded.

“First Sai, Kakashi and Iruka come waltzing up to my door-”

“Naruto cut him off, “Iruka was there, hmm maybe so you would actually believe them.”

“-which is strange in itself, and tell me,” Sasuke continued as if uninterrupted, “that you are pregnant! That is absolutely outrageous! Then they finish off by telling me it’s my child. Are they going crazy?”

Naruto walked silently to the doors of his office and quickly pulled them opened, Sai tumbled into the room and landed on the floor, Kakashi stumbled slightly but remained standing and Iruka peeked around the corner, “Why don’t you come in and listen?”

“Will you tell me already?!” Sasuke yelled.

“No, they’re not crazy,” Naruto sighed, closing the door, “Sexy-no-jutsu and Kyuubi.”

Sasuke was speechless as Naruto sat back down in his chair.

Naruto looked at the calender sitting on his desk, October 13th, official worst day ever!

“You’re pregnant,” Naruto nodded as Sasuke formed more words, “with my kid.” Naruto rolled his eyes. “I don’t…I don’t have…to leave you?”

Naruto frowned.

Sakura stood, “Well, we’ll be leaving now, see you later Naruto!” She began shoving the 3 other men out the door. When the door closed and only Naruto and Sasuke remained, Naruto stood up.

“Have to leave me?”

“Well, I mean, men can’t natural bear a child. I didn’t even think about sexy-no-jutsu or Kyuubi. I made a promise to my parents and clan that after I killed Itachi I would rebuild my clan and I don’t break promises. I didn’t want to leave you but I couldn’t break my promise.” Sasuke looked at his feet.

“I shouldn’t take you back, I should raise this child by myself and go on living my life.” Naruto said.

Sasuke looked up at the blonde.

“But I love you to damn much!” Naruto threw his arms around Sasuke’s neck.

“I love you, too, Naruto,” Sasuke wrapped his arms around Naruto’s waist. “I’m glad this happened. And by the way.”

“Yes?”

“Happy belated birthday,” Sasuke smiled.

“Your bitch is going to hate me for this,” Naruto smirked.

“Not my bitch just some bitch,” Sasuke pulled back slightly, “and who cares?”
