“It’s so cold,” Saya stood close to Haji, pressing herself as close to him as she could.

Haji chuckled, “Saya, it’s hard to walk with you standing so close.”

“Boo hoo, you’ll make do! I’m cold and I’m going to stand as close to you as I want,” She spat her tongue out at him.

“Careful, if you do that again you’ll have to share,” Haji said.

Saya blinked and pulled her tongue quickly back into her mouth. “Fine.”

They walked in silence for a moment and Saya attempted to step even closer to Haji. Haji rolled his eyes as he looked down at, “If you get any closer we’ll be one person.”

“Maybe that’s my goal,” She glared at him and then quite abruptly her face lit up, “Oh, look! Snow!” She looked up.

“It’s just snow, Saya,” Haji look up along with her.

“But you know I love snow!” Saya said as she grinned up at the sky and then she looked at him “I love you, too.”

He looked down at her and blinked, but a smile crossed his face as he laughed, “I love you, Saya.”

She smiled and stood up on her tip toes to peck him on the lips.
